Terry Mitsos

Terry Mitsos was born in Sydney on 27th August 1962 and began the quest of bodybuilding from
the time he picked up a dumb-bell as a young teenager. From that moment on, he had started to
accomplish major acheivements. The first beginning with the NSW teenage championship in 1980,
with the following year winning the Mr Australia teenage title(IFBB).

Taking to the open competition in 1982 he managed to win 5 Open Men's Mr Australia (IFBB) from
1982 - 1989. One of his most outstanding career highs occurred in 1990 where he took first place
in the Tall class and Overall Mr World tournament (NABBA), that was held in Australia. From
1992 - 2001 he was competing all around the world on the professional circuit. This included the
Mr Universe competition, with the help of some of his major spnsors, such as Nutralife supplements.
His career has taken him from North America and Europe to the Middle East, South Africa and Australasia.

Terry Mitsos has become a renowned athlete over the years. Apart from being inducted into the Greek Australian Sports Hall of fame, he has featured and expressed the benefits of his experience in various leading health and fitness magazines. This includes: Muscle & Fitness, Flex, Muscle Builder, Ironman and Musclemag.

1985 - 2nd Open Mens Mr Australia (IFBB)
1988 - 1st Open Mens Mr Australia (IFBB)
1989 - 1st Open Mens Mr Australia (IFBB)
           Represented Australia at World Games Germany (IFBB)
1990 - 1st Tall Class & Overall Mr World (NABBA)
2000 - 4th Professional Mr Universe (NABBA)
